Do we really need 1,300 federal government departments for only 20 constitutionally enumerated powers?
Posted by im2moro2 on Sep 12, 2025 in Blog, Liberty | 0 commentsLet’s say you have a new smart phone with an unlimited texting plan because you text your friends a lot. But you know there are people who can’t afford a cell phone with texting or don’t want it? Is that fair? Shouldn’t everyone be entitled to unlimited texting? So what if the government says it isn’t fair, so it forms the Department of Cell Phone Fairness and makes everyone pay the government to use the same model of simple phone, and limits everyone to only 10 texts per month? Is that really fair? Is that the kind of “fair” we want from our government?
7 out of 10 Americans believe our nation is on the wrong track. Ask them why and many won’t be able to tell you. They just know something is dreadfully wrong. The truth is, unless, we determine to vote for representatives who understand the power of a free market, the need to protect personal liberty and the danger in federal government that has outgrown it’s jurisdiction, we are destined to stay on this track that will lead us to a very different America.
